2007 AC code and repair

    Maybe this post will help a fellow member facing a similar problem.

    I pulled this code in December of 2023

    My mechanic replaced the servo motor and one of the HVAC damper control arms snapped during reassembly & function testing... this is not a part you can buy off the shelf, you have to buy the entire expensive HVAC box.

    Faced with that situation, my mechanic performed a field expedient repair to get me back on the road.

    Hot wire welded and sealed with JB Weld.

    It works as it should for almost two years now, and my mechanic will pull a replacement part from a salvage yard if his repair fails.
