Removed Plasti-Dip from wheels/running boards had to recruit my 3400 PSI pressure washer for this w/ Dip Dissolve.... (straightened passenger running board too)

Painted Front/Rear Trim (Trim Black + Adhesive Promoter)

Wet Sand & Buff Headlights (Buffed Rear Tail lights aswell)

Shampoo Interior/ Simple Green Interior/ Dress

White Vinegar on All Chrome Followed by chrome Polish

Not bad for 20 years old almost with 130k+

BTW my alarm beep is noticeably lower after all this work, I imagine the pressure washer dislodged something into it

clean the truck with wax-less wash (can use dish soap or a strip wash) then I wiped it down with wax and tar remover (can use paint thinner on a rag too if you want obviously if poured on can dmg plastic)

Adhesive promoter ( clear looking, very light coat this still will run like crazy https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-CP199-Adhesion-Promoter-Primer/dp/B0007UAXJQ )

SEM trim Black ( 2-3 light coats -> I did 4) will not be covered 1st one you want it to lay on pretty flat https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FSYT6SK?ie=UTF8 )

    DO NOT NEED TO SAND

I am a auto collision tech.. if anyone has any questions just ask! im probably going to repaint the truck next year.. paints coming off the roof and hood is faded some thank god its white so it is very unnoticeable

Thanks..I think I'll give it a quick wash with diluted APC and then wipe with a panel prep. How long did it take the adhesion promoter to dry?

by the time you go from one end to the other its already dry essentially just make sure its covered (can hit it lightly twice if you want).. 3-4 minutes you'll see it flashes real quick
