    Howdy,

Original owner of a dangerously stock 2006 Tundra, SR5 RWD with 220,000 miles. Got it during college.

Have been toying with selling it for a couple years. Last 4 years of some life craziness left the truck only getting basic maintenance. Now, I don’t take my family on any long drives as it just doesn’t feel safe. Cross member bolts just replaced a year ago, still something off on the front end. Thus, why I’m here.

Your forum has at the very least made me rethink straight up selling it. I’ve already ordered LBJs, no idea when those were last done…so probably a good first thing to change! A little stuck on understanding the bolts, but I believe the black bolts with washers are what it needs? Just shows up as a different part number. Also have all the valve gaskets to fix that never ending fountain.

I’m going to get the truck working well again. At the very least, solid to send to a new home…or just keep it as I’m coming to learn these can get up to 500k miles.

Glad I found y’all, great info to read through.
