    Hey Guys,

New here. I have a 2006 toyota tundra and im looking to lift the front end and throw on front end fender flares similar to the picture below.

These are wider fiberglass fenders and if you're going to just lift your truck and not long-travel, your truck will look goofy with them. The Tacoma you linked is long-travel and wider than a stock Tacoma.

Google "first gen tundra fiberglass fenders" and you'll find options though.

@dfeinstein10 if you read my thread, please don't comment on it. I don't need all that hassle that bumping the thread brings. :anonymous:

Anyway, my fenders are from ADV which is up in the Orange County, SoCal area. They have wide and extra wide options. As Des said though, you want to get the fenders you need to accommodate your suspension or it will look like you skipped leg day at the gym.

Fiberwerx front and rear. I went with them because I liked the OEM look with the integrated flares. Other brands looked plain and boring to me. But my 4runner has McNeil because those looked more OEM haha you can't go wrong with either.

Nothing screams, "I don't give a shit about this forum or anyone/anything on it" like ...

Why in the hell would someone come on a forum, solicit feedback, and ask for an email response? That defeats the purpose of having forums.

I appreciate the replies so far, but sincerely hope nobody bothers emailing advice.

This will make sense *IF* you paint them to match. If you rock unfinished white fiberglass, ain't nobody gonna mistake it for OEM. :p

    This is very right. Jajaja!
On the other hand, it seems the rest of us are happy enough to keep posting over and over again to multiple threads on the same 25 subjects. You know, so no one had to figure out how the search feature works. o_O

Damn, you're ruthless! I love it.

Legit though, we are probably going to paint it soon. Then casually throw a long travel kit on it. I already have a new retrofit planned, too :D

Like 99% of the time, if someone is posting their email address in their first post asking for responses, they have no intent in ever coming back.

Sort of how it's probably 80% or better when a person's first post is a problem, they're also never coming back once the problem is solved and it's 50/50 if they share the solution we helped them find.

One-hit wonders have a common M.O. I'm open to being wrong here, but we won't know for another 2-3 months I guess.

It's funny how differently we all see and prefer different things. I'm not a fan of McNeil's fenders; the only good attribute I've identified is that the flat top makes a good beer shelf. But I think ADV looks good, and the fenders Swalters installed would probably be pretty sweet, painted or wrapped to match the truck.
