My truck started smoking white I called my mechanic he told me to disconnect a vacuum hose from the brake booster and it stop smoking, but the truck didn’t really wanna stay running the following day I change the master cylinder, thinking that was gonna fix the problem. It has been three days and I checked the brake booster if I could find any oil in there and it is full of oil again what should I do

Is your power steering fluid low? I think the air valve from the PS leads to the brake booster

Power steering is good the booster is full of break fluid im flushing it out with a hose I don’t know if it is the proportioning, valve, that sits in between the master cylinder, and the brake, booster I also have to be re filling the break fluid reservoir

White smoke can be anything. What did it smell like? Do you see any leaks anywhere??? Disconnecting a vaccum hose doesnt make smoke go away.

    I can't help it:

    Brakes slow you down (braking)
Break things that can be broken (breaking/broke)

Sounds like the seal on the master cylinder is leaking into the brake booster, which is then using vacuum from your intake (sucking the brake fluid into the engine) causing the white smoke. Your mechanic was pretty sharp to diagnose this issue so quickly, many might have said bad rings or valve seal.

A new brake master cylinder should fix you up. You may want to clean out the brake booster while it is separated from the intake to clean out any residue.
