TLDR: what’s do you think the issue/remedy is for images

I’ve been experience some roughness with the transmissions recently. Some issues like jumping into a high gear, staying in low gear, abnormal low growl when coasting etc. I’ve been planning (in my head) a trans flush because of the issues. I finally checked down under to see the drain/fill points etc and noticed what appears to be a leak. What are your thoughts on where it’s coming from/what to do? I do all kinds of mechanics so will likely do it my self though would love an internet experts opinion.

    Thanks!

    Imma keep it stock
That looks identical to my rear main seal leak. Although, that wouldn't explain the trans concern. I will say that while maintenance is key, I have never had any luck with a fluid exchange fixing an actual issue.

These also sound like the symptoms of low fluid. I'd consider a drain and refill.

Thanks to you both! Sounds like i have two different issues. Smallish oil drip that i’ll deal with at a later date. and, trans issue that may get better with fresh/more fluid.
