2005 Tundra AC problem!

    Ac only works on the highest setting! Same thing happened to my Tacoma had to get a blower motor resistor kit.

    Would i need a same thing for my Tundra?

    Which part of it doesn't work? The fan? The compressor?

    Yep, thats the resistor. Every setting except 'High' uses a resistor.

    My 2002 resistor hasn’t gone bad yet, but this is what it looked like when I did an inspection about 6 months ago. Its in an easy spot to access. In my case, I cleaned up the corrosion per the pic and buttoned it back up. You may consider looking/inspecting your heater coils through the resistor hole. Lots of debris can build up in there creating back pressure and thus more stress on your blower motor.

    I have ordered a new resistor from Amazon! Thx for your help. Where is the resistor located?
