I miss AZ an every day. My family is getting close to hitting the road out of Florida in an rv for a year or so to find our next home out west.

Cool! Thanks! Might give that bumper wrap a shot. The mirrors were tough and I got a few wrinkles at the edges, so hopefully I can do the bumper a little cleaner.

I snapped a few pics of the bumper to show the seam. Holding up great after a couple years.

Filmed a little comparison of my different lights now that it’s getting dark so much earlier. I used the exposure lock on my iPhone to make it somewhat objective. Links for all the lights shown are all listed previously in the thread:

    LED parking lights
    Nilight housings
    COlight mini projectors
Diode Dynamismcs SS3 Pro SAE Fog
generic scAmazon LED cube ditch lights

Fender flares are painted. I'll pic them up next week. For now, I've been enjoying the look without them.

I'd love to have a local shop do all those upgrades and enhancements for my DC. I just don't have the time or the dexterity to try to do them myself.

I have a good mechanic but all those other lighting/audio/cameras upgrades require a different skill set and someone who knows Tundras.

I’ve seen your truck around! Absolutely certain we’re in the same city. Small world. Your build actually inspired mine. Great build!

There should be a registry of all cool Tundras. I think VinWiki has that feature where folks can elect to register that they have owned a car and what they've done to it.

Do you off-road anywhere around here? I’ve tried the yucca pens preserve and it’s okay, I lost a fender flare there lol.

Hate to say it but all the off-roading here is boring af. Either sand roads, pits, or mud holes. The Pens, Webb, Sabal palm in Naples are fun to explore when it’s dry I guess. Never been to lazy springs. There are a few spots in Lehigh I’ve been meaning to check out. But we go to Colorado and Moab most years for a wheeling trip.

I’m from Utah, and I agree. 20 mins from my apartment I could find some pretty moderate trails/roads, so here navigating the sand is boring lol.

The weather's been awesome here in SWFL this week, and I’ve been off work for over a week, so naturally I've been tinkering. Changed the oil and rotated the tires. Hauled 20 bags of mulch the other day as well - and it rode so well. I forgot what a little weight in the bed does for a truck’s ride. I also had a chance to reinstall the freshly painted fender flares. I ended up using a generic trim from scAmazon which worked out great.

    Flares back on:

Some before and after. I personally prefer the look with the flares.

Happy with the paint match, too. Can't tell theyre resprayed from 5 feet away. Not bad for over 18 years old!

@912 - what’s the word on whether you’re keeping the truck or not. I remember some rumors you may decide to sell it soon.

Still on the fence, but leaning toward keeping it. I'm in the market currently for a 3500 DRW to tow a 5th wheel. When I find one, I'll make a decision on selling either the Tundra or more likely my wife's GX. The GX is replaceable, but the tundra...not so much. Plus the market has softened, I'd probably lose my shirt selling it

I wonder how much your truck would fetch? There is one on BringaTrailer right now by my friend Dean Laumbach that is mostly stock. I know Dean from my dealings with Mercedes Benz as that is 95% of his business. Yours should be worth more.

I've always been curious. I've had some private offers between 20-25k but that was awhile ago when prices in general were higher. I don't think I could let her go for less than 20 honestly. It would sting.

As we continue getting ready to go full time in our fifth wheel toy hauler for a year or two, I’ve been purging and deciding what I really need to keep. The FGT has thankfully made the cut and will definitely stay with us (at least in storage). Cleaning out a storage unit, I found my color matched topper and original side steps. Without anywhere safe to store them, they got reinstalled! So my Grandpa truck rides again Tbh I kinda like the change. Guess I’m really getting old.

Installed a tekonsha brake controller and got a set of black Sumos to tow this trailer. Some heirlooms and irreplaceables will go to storage with this trailer and the Tundra until we’re ready to come off the road.

Ok, I did the same. Canibilized the 7 wire plug same orientation of wires from a Sienna. I took the steering wheel from the same Sienna that had the audio controls and the Cruise. The difference is the Sienna cruise has 3 wires (the 3rd is red) where my original had only the 2 (black and white). Drove to town today and no cruise controll. Got home and replaced the CC with my original 2 wire, still not working. Keep in mind, im still running my original plug with 3 wires at the truck side clock spring. At the steering wheel side of clock spring, the plug has that red wire (from the CC) that goes to pin 9… but there is no wire for pin 9 to connect to on the truck side of the clock spring! Why is there a wire that goes to nowhere? Also note wire 10 (black with silver dots) does not go directly to CC (like it does on original steering wheel), it goes to stereo control and then another all black wire comes from stereo controll to the CC. If im going to take an educated guess, there is some foul play and the power or signal or whatever that is transmitted via #10 wire, is not making it back over via the all black wire to the CC. Maybe the real question here is, what does the #10 (black with silver dots) wire provide? Ground? 12v+? Or signal out? Any ideas?
