Hello Everyone, new to the forum.

I purchased a 2005 Double Cab over the summer and have been slowly adding components here and there. The truck currently has a leveling kit with 3in spacers. I have already installed 5100s on the rear and have been looking at the 2.5 in rough country struts for the front. Does anyone have any experience with these? Is there a better option out there at this price point, currently running 285 / 70 / 16 with hopes of stepping up in tire size eventually.

    Thanks.

I have the billies set on the 4th clip position I think (highest position the double cab can go) anyway with 285/75r16’s and no rubbing.

I am back and forth, unfortunately I can't find the 5100s in stock anywhere right now. I Would like to replace the springs up front as well

@gargra03 if you have the coin I’d go the lift by springs and probably most on here would agree. you’re going to have a better ride. I’m going to put my billies back to stock and put 2” lift springs on in the fall when I put new upper control arms on. I love the way my truck looks now but the ride suffered for sure. Try these guys. I’ve never used them but they seem to have a pretty good deal of inventory.https://www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p588/DobinsonsBilsteinFrontTundra.html

Thanks everyone, after doing some research on the rough country product I believe I am just going to stick with the 5100s. Thanks for the link Motopilot these look like they will fit the bill perfect.
