I worked on my buddies 2004 Tundra for hours to no avail. It has the suicide doors.
His drivers door will not open from the inside or outside.

I removed the drivers side door panel without too much problem. I took the passenger door panel off to see what happens when the door is opened, and compared that to the drivers side and cannot tell any difference. I have fixed other Toyota and GM door issues, but have never seen anything like this.

No problems with the cables or rods that I can see. I tried the pushing suggested by a different website but nothing happened. The only thing I can think of isBMW cutting/destroying everything going to the lock and then replacing everything.

Anyone have any other ideas? I am not going to cut through the door as one fool suggested.
I did also remove he outside door handle, but that did nothing. You can actually see more of what is happening inside of the door from the drivers seat.

I also used a video snake camera but still could not see what is wrong. Also 2 friends, one a BMW/Mini and the other a Honda mechanic, both for dealers, and no one had a better idea.

HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS HAPPEN AND COME UP WITH A REAL FIX?

my driver side door was unopenable because the window track got jammed up to something inside. got the panel off and unbolted the track and the door finally opened. the bolt i think was toward the back of the door near the top of the panel. it was for the rear window run

    Is the lock actuating?

Like the electric bits inside the latch?

when the inside handle broke on my sequoia, i could work it with the cable. When grandpas inside door handle broke it was stuck and i’m convinced i did some cheat code wiggling, cause i was able to open it, but the shop he took it to couldnt.

Ive got this going on with mine right now. It was self inflicted though, from changing out the actuator. I think my issue is it's locked, and I missed one attaching one cable. I am rebuilding the front end right now, and have it all apart. When I'm done with that I will take a look at the door and report back. As a side note, I reviewed the crap schematics in the FSM and they were not much help
