2004 Toyota Tundra

Does anyone know of any salvage, junkyard, etc, on a 2004 Toyota Tundra double cab, armrest console, I'm trying to find one to replace my old one, kids broke the whole thing. I've been searching places with no luck, and "EBAY" be selling them for an arm and a leg.

It's the easiest way to find something near you. And you may be able to hunt for Sequioa as an option, just know there are sometimes very tiny changes in the pigment used from year to year.

 

Exactly. Look for Sequoias from 2000-2007 (and Tundras 2004-2006) and you may have some luck luck. And if you use car-part (and you really should learn how to use it--I have been looking for this exact same part for a while now), you can click through pictures on a lot of them. Do yourself a favor and call the yard and also ask them to text you pictures of it. The pictures online are usually from the day they received the vehicle and inventoried it; if it's been sitting there for a year or two already, a lot of the stuff might be sold/lost off of it already. The two "main" colors are "dark gray" and "beige/tan"--and you may see some with wood grain on Limiteds, and just simple black trim on SR5s. So you are going to have to do some hunting.

Honestly, I'm tempted to just pull the trigger on the eBay ones at this point so I know what I'm getting without wasting my whole Saturday climbing around in moldy shitboxes with all their parts missing.

thanks for the 411, I'll keep a lookout Sequoias 2000-2007 consoles see if I can find a all dark grey if not ill just color over the grain panels

Kids are destructive lol. My dad used to always tell me, "go ahead and break whatever you want on this truck, just realize it is going to be the first and only vehicle I ever give you." On my 16th birthday, he gave me the very truck that I destroyed throughout my childhood.

Which type of center console do you have? Can you use one from a donor Sequoia? Sequoias are definitely more available in scrap yards.

 

And to your point @Mr Badwrench, there's a couple of "types" of center console, like, the section between the dash and storage bin are different. I want to say the Sequoia may be an inch or so longer, but members on here have found it'll bolt right up.
