I have a 2003 Toyota tundra 3.4 2wd. I got a transmission from a Toyota Tacoma 1998 with the same 3.4 engine. In order to have it fit I had to change the transmission bracket, transmission tail, and a sensor plug. The one other thing is the tacoma transmission has a kick down cable. I was able to get the throttle body from the Tacoma as well. Has anyone been able to do the conversion with a Tacoma transmission before?

This talks about using a pressure gauge to adjust the kickdown cable. I'm wondering how the '03 transmission controller is gonna react to mechanical control.
