Added a "new to me" 2003 Tundra from Cali to Austin, TX. I got the 2-wheeldrive version since it NEVER snows in Texas.

    ...oh wait.

Well, the truck checks out for the most part since I bought it without making the flight to Sacremento. When the transporter tried to start it to roll it off the back of the trailer, the battery was dead. I had to grab the keys to my 1996 F150 and give it a jumpstart. Fired right up.

Afterwards, I did a quick run to O'Reilly's and grabbed a new battery. Installed it and everything was fine, except the gauge for the battery was "below" zero. OOF.

Here's the photo of it before it shipped out, and the stupid gauge. Hoping it's just the gauge and not the alternator.

Looking forward to more posting and less lurking.

...and one last note, the frame was immaculate. Makes me wonder if it was replaced, but the CarFax makes no mention of this.

@Pearl-snap you can create an account at toyota owners dot com and plug in your Vin number to see all Dealership done services/recall/maintenance items.

Welcome! I love the green! Looks like the parking brake is in good working order, or at least the line is taut.

That adjusts your rear drums. If it isn't working properly then you are only using front Disc's to stop motion.

I’ve never heard the Lower Alabama part. I do pass through Mobile every other year on the way to Destin. Love seeing the USS Alabama!

Thank you. I’ll check it out and hopefully this will give additional info on top of the CarFax.
