My search fu here isn't strong so feel free to send me to a thread that already has this info (mostly I've found storage solutions for the bed and child seat and sub-woofer threads for the Access Cab, not much on storage for the AC).

The rear seats in my new-to-me '03 AC will likely get very little use. I'm thinking of storage solutions that can be added either with the rear seat in the truck, the seat removed or the seat and back removed.

Stackable storage bins come to mind as a simple solution and drawers on each side come to mind as more complex solutions. Naturally, they'd need to be secure so they don't become missiles in a wreck.

Things I'd store there include tools, a battery jump pack, flashlights, maps, lunch extra food, extra clothing, possibly basic recovery gear, etc. In short, the kind of stuff I'd want to have available the time roaming forest service roads for day-trips (additional camping gear for multi-day trips would go in the bed.

I welcome any thoughts, photos or links that help me brainstorm on this.

    Thanks.
