    Hi I just replaced my rack and pinion I bleed the power steering pump but it only took about a quart of fluid and won't go down no more and now there's a grinding noise when turning all the way to left please help

    Did you jack up the front end (wheels hanging) and turn the wheel side-to-side full lock with the truck powered off? I believe that's what I did to bleed it but I'd have to look through the field service manual and what others have stated here.

    did you run your pump dry? 10 turns seems like a lot to me. When I did my flush, 2-4 turns was more than enough to get the reservoir half way empty.
