    I didn't see a post on this question. Where can I find the model of the transmission in a 2002 Tundra? There is no information plate on the driver door. I know on a prius for example the plate will say A/TM for axle and transmission model types.

    I appreciate that. Thank you. Can you let me know how I can find that information on the vehicle?

    It’s located on the sill of the driver’s side. Actually ends up being on the side of the suicide door

    I thought about that but there is no information tag anywhere on the doors or door frames. There is just an old sticker from the factory with a vin.

    A340e = 2WD

    A340f = 4wd

    The difference is in how the transfer case mounts to the side for 4wd.
