I recently replaced the battery in my 2002 Tundra because it wouldn't start. After the new battery the truck ran great for about two weeks. Now the truck will not start again. Traced the wires and no breaks or tears. Alternator?

alternator... Maybe not "busted", but probably isn't charging up to its full potential.

If you have a multi meter check to see how many volts the battery has. I beleive it should be between 12.5 and 13v and higher when the engine is running. See if you can get it going by a jump start and you can check your alternator with your meter. I kind of had the same problem on my 02, I thought it was the starter:eek2: looks like a PIA to get to but I replaced my battery and all is fine. Good luck

Jump it and see if it will start. Put a multimeter on the battery and see what voltage it's at. If it holds a steady 14.4 ish volts, your charging system is healthy. If it starts dropping, you're in for a new alternator.

What they said check resting voltage and idling voltage then put a load on by turning on lights and ac and make sure it’s still holding a good charging voltage. If that all fails you probably have Solenoid issues with your starter.
