    Hello,
I have the new rack and new lines installed, but it is leaking bad from where the return line screws into the rack. Both are new parts, ive got new o-ring on. Not sure what im missing? Messed with positioning of the line while screwing in the fitting for a few hours, nothing seems to help. Its leaking out of the threads, but the fitting is tight. Tried using thread lock also to close any gaps but its still leaking. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issue...

    Imma keep it stock
First, let’s start with your parts list. What exactly did you replace? Part number? Vendor?

Are you certain the lines are screwed into the rack correctly and nothing is cross threaded? When I replaced my rack and steering lines, getting the fittings on the lines lined up correctly to thread into the rack was a difficult task. Definitely took more effort on my part than I anticipated.

Bought a Lares 28070 steering rack and Edelmann 92712 return line from rockauto. Pretty confident it isn't cross threaded. Had trouble originally like you said, fighting against the line, so I disconnected the fitting end from the rest of the rubber hose to make positioning easier.

Might want to take the line apart and have a look at the threads and oring etc
