2000 Toyota tundra bed replacement option

Hi all , I have a 2000 Toyota tundra sr5 6.5ft bed and the bed is rotted. I have looked at other forums but it’s been awhile on them . I need to know what years are compatible with my truck to do a swap and where could you guys recommend at looking for one . It has been extremely hard to find these days and I have looked on Facebook, junk yards around my area and I’m in NY . Please and thank you

 

With your truck (access cab I'm assuming) you can use a bed from the a 2000-2002 access cab without issue. I think starting in 2003 when they changed the bumper, the bed and the mounts changed a little as well. Given you are in rusty country, I would suggest looking farther away to find something rust free. But stick with junkyards and marketplace. Might just have to be patient until one pops up.
