Can anyone confirm if the 20" TRD off-road wheels are stronger or lighter than the 20" Limited wheels?

Your wheels (especially when running OEM wheels) are not going to change the payload and tow capacity of the vehicle.

Statistically, when stress tested beyond working limits is one of the wheels stronger? Probably, but you're not going to find out that limit following Toyota's recommendations for payload and tow ratings.

I think you would have a suspension or frame failure before the wheels give out.

Okay already! I didn't ask about suspension & frame issues! I have that under control, I've had wheels crack before so that's my concern okay

You cracked a Tundra wheel before? What activity were you involved in that resulted in a cracked wheel on your Tundra?

I'd pick a dog over a cat, cuz cat's are crazy. And so are cat people. So pick a dog. Or at least a hot dog if you aren't up for the responsibility of owning a pet. Personally, I'd rather eat a hamburger because dog doesn't taste very good (trust me... I KNOW THINGS....). In the manual, it says you shouldn't use your truck to do dangerous things, so don't think about cats, hot dogs, or eating animals other than cows, pigs, and chickens - cuz those other ones are unsafe - while operating your vehicle to do stuff that's your own ball of beeswax. Unless you have an deep-rooted infatuation that spins your brain between fits of rage-filled spasmodic verbal outbursts and euphoric uncontrollable complacency - like a stalker doing stalker-y things.. or so I would suppose... In which case you should seek help from a bored Serta-fied helper type person while you eat your red meat food item of choice, driving your truck at mock one point twenty-one jiggawats in an attempt to flee the brooding herd of local demon cats and chihuahua's (chihuahua's are essential 3 lb demon cats that have infiltrated the Canis genus millennia ago through deceit and unspoken levels of evil...) with your dog riding shotgun whilst brandishing a combination AK-57 UZI, laser radar-guided, triple-barreled, double-scoped, heat-seeking shotgun. Nuff said.

I think I answered your question in there somewhere..? I just took my cues from the other comments posted above...
