20 inch wheel upgrade

20 inch tundra wheels wanted. This is my 3rd Tundra. Ready for some all terrain tires and 20 inch rims. To save I thought I would just look for some used factory tundra rims and new BF Goodrich tires. Could have got all 4 for $100 days ago on Craigslist but missed out. Called a couple of cheap tire shops no luck. Why do some sites ask if you currently have steel or alloy wheels ?
If my current tires are 275/65R18, would a 20 inch fit would be 275/65R20 ?

 

No a 275/65/18 is about a 32" tire
A 275/65/20 is 34"+
The equivalent in a 20" wheel would be 275/55/20 ( stock 20" size)
Within .2"

You can run 275/60/r20 with no lift and it’s 1 inch taller than factory

lots of tire Choices in that size

Lug Nuts from Steel Wheels are not compatible with Alloy Wheels and vice versa.

 

Thanks. It has after market wheels from discount tire. They were on it when I got it. Guess they can be either. Time for magnet test ?
