2 different type of tow hooks

Does toyota make 2 differend type of tow hook for the tundra? I notice i have the one with the loop facing towads the ground while i see some people have the one with both loops, one facing towards the front of the bumper and one loop facing towards the ground.

 

Not 100% sure but i think there are ones for the 2wd and ones for the 4wd.

This one looks different than the horizontal loop that angles to the ground that I have.

 

I think the one with one loop pointing to the ground was a factory part for 07 - 13 models, and the two-loop were 14 - 21; but they should be swappable.

If you're at the point of buying new ones, the two-loop version is pretty pricey, unless you can find an online seller. There are aftermarket options.

Yea one is $138 and the other one is $35. It hard to tell with the picture toyota provide cause it a drawn up image of it but im assuming the double loop cost more then the single loop. I see some people get them podwer coated red and it looks cool when it sticks out a little like this guy did https://www.tundras.com/threads/bilstein-5100-and-oem-tow-hook-red.48740/. I think it give it a nice little touch with my trd pro wheels.

As others have said, I believe the single loop tow hooks are from 07-13 and the dual loop tow hooks are from 14-21.

I also had mine powder coated red to match the sway bars, I like it

 

4wd point to the bumper.
2wd points downward.

 

Appreciate the help everyone. I dont know why my 16 has the older truck hooks but im definitely interested in the hook bikeric
