Just got a 2” front, 1” rear spacer lift kit installed from Cornfed Suspension.

After install I drove it 240+ miles home and I honestly BARELY can tell any ride quality difference. Very happy with the ride quality. Just a tad stiffer/springy which is expected (I haven’t done an alignment yet). This lift kit has a two piece spacer for the front, one being a preload spacer (which can be seen in the first pic). And one spacer for the rear. Can definitely feel the truck sitting taller and it has a nice stance. I like the 2”/1” setup so it still keeps some rake for towing but still looks pretty level…and it’s not overly aggressive.

My drive home was mostly highway and was over 240 miles I avg around 19-20mpg after the lift which wasn’t any different from before the lift on my way there. I’m going off the computer though and didn’t do an actual manual calculation.

Now all I need are some bigger tires. Anybody know if 295/70r18 will fit the factory OR wheels I have?

here are some pics. I’ll take some better pics in daylight when I get a chance.

So it has two spacers in front? That is, one preload puck and one that sits on top of the strut?

Yes, the preload spacer goes on top of the strut and spring. And then the second spacer (very thin like a shim) goes on top of the whole assembly/top hat. Does that make sense?

edit: the spacer you can see in the picture is the preload. And the second spacer is thinner that goes on top of the whole assembly which is hidden under the four bolts holding the whole assembly to the top

not sure how much thick is that "non pre-load" spacer is, but maybe worth it to consider a slight longer bump stop to prevent the shocks being bottoming out. but if it is just a shim then I don't see any problem.

Yes 295/70-18 will work fine on your setup and stock wheels. That likely means moving to E load tires, so the ride will firm up considerably. You will notice the ride difference more from the higher load tires vs the spacer lift. Something to be aware of.

Yeah I don’t want it to firm up anymore from the tires. What size do you think I can go with on the stock wheels where I won’t have to have E load tires?

Yeah I meant to ask cornfed suspension if they can create some small spacers for the front bump stop and the rear shocks. The "non pre-load" spacer/shim is fairly thin which goes on top of the top hat. I wasn't too concerned right now though because I don't plan to take it off-roading anytime soon which is where it would be at risk of bottoming out, correct? It's just my daily driver for now which is 99% on paved roads.

I think you will be fine for now, just take it easy on some of those tall speed bumps lol

in your tire search you can filter based on load rating. Discount tire and tirerack both have that filter in search. There are a couple options depending on size.. I recall 295/70-18 had one standard load tire, all other were E. It was the nitto terra grappler. In 275/70 there is also one in standard load, General Grabber APT.

How is the rear spacer? I put a 2.25” Icon level on the front and now I need a little ups in the rear.

I just ordered their 1" rear spacer to help give me a little more rake for when I tow my boat. I have some 2" front spacers and they appear to sit maybe 1/4" to 1/2" higher than the rear, although i haven't measured them yet.

Did you do the install? How was the rear?

I have a 2.25” Icon spacer on mine and I’m seeing a .5” higher in front on flat ground and up to 2” higher front facing uphill. It’s driving me nuts. I think I’m going to order the 1” rear from Cornfed also.

I watched them install. The rear is fairly easy. Just make sure you loosen the nut holding the break line so you don’t accidentally rip it off when disconnecting the strut and removing the spring. The 1” spacer in the back goes above the spring and bolts to the frame.

3Gen4x4 how do you like the ride of the cornfed kit? I believe its the only 2" front out right now that has it split between spacer and preload

Truck looks great! I'm planning to do this kit on mine. How does your truck do when towing, and how much tongue weight do you have? I tow a TT with 1000lb TW. I can get the truck dead level with my WDH hooked up. Hoping with this kit and messing around with the WDH I can still maintain level without having to do bags or something.

Does anyone have any experience with Traxda spacers? I'm looking at their 2.5" front and 1" rear kit. They show a silver 2022 Tundra with that kit on their site, but no reviews. I planned to stick with Readylift. I have run a Readlift spacer on my '16 Limited with zero issues for 6 years but they are not making any for the 3rd Gen hybrids. The rep said the suspension is different for the hybrids.

    I just ordered Cornfed’s 2.5/1 Kit.

It doesn’t look like the OP’s kit. It’s still a 2 piece design but it comes with a spacer that raises the shock clip higher while still utilizing the stock spring perch.

It’s on the way to me now but seriously contemplating the Wescott Kit for the full 3”.

Has anyone here had experience with the new Tundra Cornfed Kit?

Did you ever get this cornfed kit installed? I have their 2/1 kit on my workbench waiting to be installed. You're correct that their newer kits utilize the metal spacer below the spring perch rather than the plastic puck.

Installed and doing pretty good so far. David has the truck on his facebook page. I have mine posted on the lunar rock 3rd gen page.

They finally released the 3/1 kit. The price is too good to pass up and install is easy as well. Ride is still pretty good but seriously considering the RC 3.5 Kit.

I have the 2/1 'plastic' kit, happy with it. I initially started install using westcott instructions but found the cornfed method was easier. my spring compressor in particular, older wallmount unit - I just couldn't get the springs compressed. Ended up using on-vehicle-weight method which worked fine. One comment is with this 2/1 it seems pretty dead level now, I anticipated and wanted to keep a bit of rake as I tow fairly often but thats not the case, its level. I'll most likely end up replacing the rear 1" spacer with a heavier rear spring that gives me 1.5" lift would be perfect.

I noticed the install instructions didn't require use of a spring compressor. I don't quite understand Cornfed's method, that spring portion scares me a bit but Dave said it's way easier.

bumping for more pics of 2/1, 1.75/1, or 1.5/1 lifts. I was planning the TRD lift, but I feel like it is just a bit too big for what I want. I like the idea of a 2/1 to get a little bit bigger, so it looks more proportional and maybe some 33s, but not too big and to hopefully keep a tad bit of rake.
