With the new 240 amp alternator, AGM battery cell, 1/0 power and 1/0 ground cables this thing is insanely bright! The 50” Rigid Adapt is very impressive!2B39CB0A-0AD7-44A3-9C63-3EB4F0D25386.jpg

I wonder how many fender benders that beast has caused from people rubber-necking as you drive by.

This is the side view of the cross bars. They allow you to add different fasteners into the slots. I can’t remem the company off hand, but they make a bunch of different mounts for them.

    This looks sick..
When u get a chance, can u check something for me.

    1. Distance from of the roof to the top of the rack in the 3 places marked in yellow.

    2. So your front cross bar looks the same as all others except it has the rigid LED light bar? or the front one comes w some sorta spoiler style bar.

Dave has done some work for me so i m trying to get this rack with minor changes. My case, the cross bars will be 4-5 every 10 inches.

I was thinking of buying a travel trailer but that plan changed cause i cant take it Everywhere. I m thinking of getting this RTT (link below) but i will need a rack to support it. Yours look awesome. I was thinking matt black finish on rails and probably Red on cross bars or may be glossy black.

Thank you! I have a check engine light now but I have to send my cats to my exhaust builder to install on my mid pipes. Once my whole exhaust is done I’ll have dap tuning reprogram everything. After the exhaust and before the tune is supposed to add 50hp and 89ft of torque.

Love the truck but I’m pretty sure I’d rather doink a Victoria Secret model than the truck, though I would probably stay happier knowing the truck would be more loyal....and cost much less:annoyed:

OK, I’ll take the truck for the long haul

I would expected 99% of guys to gawk at a Victoria Secret model, but the key is which one can you stare at in front of your wife. :spy:

Good lord. I joined this site about a year ago. I saw this build, and I’m thinking this guy has done some pretty cool stuff. I’d like to copy some of it. I even bookmarked this thread.
It just keeps going though. No need to have the bookmark, it’s always near the top anyway. I definitely gave up trying to emulate it.
Did an Indian put a curse on you that said you’d die if you ever stopped building this truck? Or is it sentient, and requires constant upgrade to keep it from killing you?

Kidding aside, you are the MVP for us black Tundra owners. Beautiful.

Thank you for the kind words! I work hard so my Tundra is my hobby. I’ve still got parts that need to go on but I’ve been way to busy to Install them. Now that you mention it maybe I do have a must keep adding parts curse on me. Lol. My next Tundra Build will be completely different though. Probably a custom long travel suspension, full fiberglass front and rear, SC and full bed rack for long trips off the grid. I’m going to see what the 2020 Tundra look like before I do anything though.

Joined the site today looking for information about adding a roof rack to my Crewmax and came across your truck build. It is totally awesome, and I appreciate all the sharing of information specifically about removing the headliner. But dang, you are parking that beast in the burbs! Here is a drone video of a place that that monster deserves to inhabit. It's about 20 miles west of Austin: https://youtu.be/sXnxsbFZQig

Got my carbon fiber trim pcs for the front lower fogs, interior ignition trim and tundra letters.7223BD83-44E9-44B0-91F2-6BF9639067D2.jpg
I went with the Carbon letters without the gel coating. I wanted to keep my Tundra lettering recessed.

Spoke with Tufskinz today since they sent me cup holders inserts for a Tacoma instead of the Tundra. Very great customer service! They said they would send me the correct order with a return label for the wrong product received. I really appreciate them correcting the order and sending it out ASAP. Great companies who take care of their customers are always greatly appreciated.

I got my Mammoth Guards installed on the front today. I like the way they look a lot! It finished off the front wheel well area. I painted the mount bracket for reservoir mount high gloss black. I’m waiting on one more reservoir mount before I can install the rear guards and brackets. 67C41976-5885-4C41-B05A-9032B68D0973.jpg

Here are my rear guards. I had my own reservoir mounts made to mount to the shock reservoirs. Very happy with final results! BCCC0739-951E-42F3-AEE8-50CF1083A36F.jpg 3D0012C0-7AF9-49EF-AF8A-07D0E29CD74C.jpg

I like to detail my truck myself. I bought the Flex 3401 VRG HD last year and have loved having it. I’ve been wanting the Flex PE8 for small detail work and tight spots. It holds 3”,2” & 1” pads. Today Autogeek has a coupon for $125 off on orders over $500. So I finally ordered my Flex PE8 polisher today. Looking forward to using it for those small areas like the grille, door jambs & more. Saving $125 is a great deal! 79CCCBCE-8B2F-4BCD-AA5C-B080F878B7D4.jpg
