After doing alot of commuting past few years and having gotten great deals to trade in. I have finally given the tundra a try. 1000km so far and good. Past 4 yrs owned:
    2012 nissan titan
    2015 f150 2.7
    2016 f150 3.5 eco
    2016 titan xd diesel x3
    2016 titan xd gas
    2017 ram 1500 Ltd
    2017 chev 1500
    2018 ram 1500 outdoorsman
    2018 f150 2.7(wife currently have)
    2018 tundra

Most of this have towed my 8000lb 35' travel trailer. Will see how the tundra compares.

Wow. Talk about a run of the gamut for trucks owned. What are your initial likes and dislikes of the Tundra in the short amount of time you’ve had it?

I kinda knew what I was getting into. But lack of economical remote start from toyota. I know lots of options there.
The other gripe is no auto up/down power windows.

They weren't all at once. I actually had a pretty good run going of driving a truck for around 30,000km trading it in on another brand and actually making a little money on it. In part alot being wholesaled to the US and dealers desperate to make a month end deal.
I like the titan xd. But after owning the gas version as well. I quickly discovered there is no advantage to the diesel. And almost doesn't make sense for the xds rated duties.
Why they were all 2016's is well we still have dealers with new ones. And they make a great trade in tool as not everyone is familiar with them. So they price them higher then they should.
For example my last one I got for 42000 not including trade in value. Put 30,000 km on it. Traded it in on a ram and got 45000 trade value.
My ram in on the tundra was the first time I lost a little when trading in.

    Welcome!

I'm curious to know how well (or not so well) those previous trucks towed your tt? I'm sure you have a well qualified opinion. Thanks.

Out of all the xds handled best. And because I'm in central Ontario Canada with no mountains. Brings me back to my gas preference with xd. Better get up and go. As well same mpg.
My 2016 f150 was a crew cab 6.5 box max tow. Definitely had the get up go. The 2.7 actually has better take off.
But the new f150 is too lite.
Ram rear coil without add ons wasnt impressed.

I didn't get a good enough time with the chev towing to get an accurate feel with wind etc..
The 5.3 did feel the most enemic out of the bunch.
But I will say I have never been a fan of chev.
But out of the bunch(not including the tundra) it was probably my favorite for daily life. Comfort and decent economy as well fit and finish. I absolutely hated my 2015 and 2016 f150 seat comfort. But i will say ford made a drastic improvement for the wife's 2018.

600km today so far so good.
One gripe came up though radio reception fm or xm not the best. Economy still surprising me. 12.6 L/100km for the day.
