Hello and thanks for the add. I have been driving full size American trucks for the last 40 years, the last 2 being Dodge 1500's. After both showing signs of severe decline after 150k miles I started looking for something better. I test drove the new Dodge and was not impressed, and had plans to drive the GMC and Ford. Then I drove the Nissan which was nice but pretty pricey. I looked at all the reviews and top 10 truck lists and all the lists had Toyota at the top of all of them. I need a full size truck because I haul vintage motorcycles and firewood. I always thought foreign trucks were smaller than American trucks and was pleasantly surprised at the Nissan and Toyota. Same size bed, double cab, 380 hp, 4 wheel drive with all the bells and whistles and multiple claims of 300k-400k miles made me a buyer. I work for the railroad that hauls Toyotas so I got a discount and additional incentives, so I brought a 2020 Tundra TRD Limited 4x4 home for 42k plus they gave me blue book value ($7500) for my 2011 Dodge 1500. Well I've been trying to find a flaw to gripe about, but so far have not been able to find one. Ive hauled a bike and 2 loads of firewood and I have to wonder why I waited so long. Impressed is an understatement, officially jumped ship on American trucks. My wife also bought a 2020 4Runner for our retirement plan to have both paid off before I retire in 6 years. Looking forward to driving this new truck!

Probably the main point that sold me. My last Dodge was made in Mexico.

Profits go to Toyota NA. They cut the paychecks to American workers

I mean yeah workers get paid, but plenty of money goes back to the place they actually design them haha

Congrats! You will love it. As one mentioned here 2019+ no longer have an auxiliary transmission cooler. Not a huge deal unless you frequently tow more than 5000lbs. I added one on my truck for less than $400. Other than that, the powertrain is a PROVEN one with very few issues.
