Right now with the high demand, all of our dealers are pretty much at MSRP and won't budge.

I believe 2020s still have the $2000 rebate and 2021s is only $750. Might be regional though.

Most likely. I don't recall a rebate on mine here in Fl when I bought it a couple weeks ago.

Out here in AZ, dealers are selling at invoice plus the $1500 rebate. So OTD ends up being about MSRP +/-. That's the best I've been able to do. Trying to order a Army Green DC. Should know if Toyota will do it in the next day or so.

Unfortunately, you picked just about the worst time to get a deal. With the shortage due to the coronavirus added to the increased demand by those wanting to get the 5.7 V8 before it is phased out next year, dealers are not budging very much on price. My advice is to shop around online and pit as many dealers as you can against each other.

Double Cab. Right Toyota had a Army Green crewmax when I was there but it might be gone already. I am going to have them try and order me a truck.

So a rebate, what does that mean. Its like a "discount"? And yeah I've seen that $2000 rebate here in AZ, not sure if it applies to all dealers though. And $750 for a 21? Hmm
Lovely truck you have, white on black..oh my!

Toyota of Burleson in dfw. This is three hours away from me, I probably emailed and talked to ten different dealerships nobody local was willing to give that kinda deal.

I just got back today from my dealer. They wouldn’t budge off MSRP for new and are asking insane prices for the pre-owned.

I’m really glad I bought exactly the truck with the options I wanted when I bought mine.

Yep that is so true, dealers wont be really into "negotiating" knowing lots of people want it too haha, well that's what I'm doing now, online shopping talking to a few dealers before I get involved with more. I am in no rush to buy but I do want one before they go!!

WOW that's a good deal, so you expanded your search huh not just locally? What about when it needs to be serviced, would that be the same dealer or can that be done elsewhere, well yes it def can by hopefully you know what I mean.

Thanks. I've started looking out of state. At deals like you got, I could ship the truck in for far cheaper than buying one local. I'll keep them on the list as I continue to wait for inventory to build.

Thanks. Yeah rebate is pretty much a "discount" you can get off the MSRP or whatever the negotiated price is. Pretty much instant rebate. Got my truck at MSRP minus the $2000 rebate.

What was the MSRP? and what truck did you look at? Wow, what was the price they were asking for, for the preowned? When did you buy your truck at your liking?

so you have trd pro CM and you got it at MSRP, what was the MSRP? I actually wanted a trd but might be too much truck for me, a SR5 would be just fine. But there is one specifically a SR5 and it has some trd packages in it. I like it. I just don't quite know if those packages would prevent me from getting a lift in the future. & side note..I'm a lady hehe not that it matters jus saying (thanks man)

Admittedly, haven't made much progress. I look at dealerships/inventory then work or life intervenes. I've bought out of state before, so I try to target the markets that have reasonable shipping costs to my location. Dealerships around me tack on fee after fee, so out of market is usually easier if you don't have to buy today. Just keep waiting for the right truck to pop up - feel like I've been waiting for like 3 years now...haha

Yep unfortunately that's the way it goes, that's me right now too, life & work intervening. Hm I'm curious now, what's the shipping costs look like? I've never known someone that has bought out of state. And hey lol 3 years is ok, no need to rush into buying so big, it is about the 2nd biggest purchase out there following a house, so take your time. but if its a v8 that you want "before they are gone" well then hmm start searchin
