    Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a helpful thread based on a great tip shared by @Neo (props to you!) about using the LKQ Pick Your Part website to set up alerts for vehicles hitting their yards. https://www.tundras.com/threads/1st-gen-lunch-table-general-discussion.60450/page-2601#post-3908623

Thanks to that suggestion, I’ve set up a watchlist specifically for FGTs and FGSs in Oklahoma City (closest yard to DFW). Whenever a 1st Gen shows up in that yard, I get an email alert—and I thought, why not share those alerts here to help the community?

I’d also love for this to grow into a community thread. If you’ve set up alerts for other yards or spot an FGT at your local yard, feel free to post the info here. The more eyes we’ve got, the better chance we all have of grabbing what we need before it’s gone. Let’s make this a solid resource for all of us keeping our Best Gens on the road!

This thread will be regularly updated with new alerts as they come in. If you’re hunting for parts, this could give you a head start before these trucks get picked over.

Feel free to chime in if you visit one of these yards or grab any parts—it could help others know what’s still available.

I have alerts set for Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville. I'm located the same distance from all 3 yards. I need to get a rear axle from them but we close on our house tomorrow and start our final military move next weekend. Luckily it is a local move and not cross country. The new house is only 10 miles away and I'll finally have a garage for both our vehicles and toys and a car port for the truck outside.

This is a great idea. A while back, either Yotatech or the Marlin Crawler forum had a guy who might have been in Colorado, who worked at a Toyotas-only junkyard. He had a master thread on the forum for people to post what they need. If he had it, he'd pull it and ship it. I was doing a lot of work on my 83 pickup at that point and got a ton of parts through him.

Ha! Yeah, I've got alerts setup for the one nearest us. We only have two though, I won't be driving to Savannah for the other one :D

I can keep you posted on the PAP yards. I get alerts from them but it usually ends up being AC trucks, not DC.

That would be great! I also have been checking on locally called Gray and white you pull it. They currently have an 03 Sequoia and it has the 150 amp alternator

Question on how LKQ works. We have a local used parts LKQ (Manchester, TN) but it doesn't show up on the website for locations. If I were to walk-in or call them about the axles on the ones I posted, could I get it shipped up to me and pickup at this site? The local site is only 15 minutes from the house and I could go pick it up even with the leaking axle.

LKQ sells a crapload of parts on fleaBay also... And would probably ship willingly. https://www.ebay.com/str/lkqonline

Or via their website, I think you can use this too: https://www.lkqonline.com//

I've logged into the online site but the Manchester location doesn't show up as an option. Maybe it's because I was already searching for Tundra parts and they don't have any. I can go to a website for that location but it seems separate from the other one.

Edit: I guess that is a different site than I logged into before.
