Has anyone seen a 1st gen tundra access cab with a norweld tray and four wheel camper flatbed setup? I’m thinking about doing this but not sure whether to go with the fleet camper or the hawk and I’d like to see how the final outcome came out.

Look up Basil Lynch on Instagram. He had this exact setup and just sold the camper a few weeks ago. BTW, I'm the one that was mesaging you on Instagram when you asked about the coastal bumper.

Not that the 4wheel campera aren't sweet, but a much cheaper option is the Vagabond.
I would love to have either.

Damn that tundra is sweet! Thank you, and yeah, those coastal bumpers seem pretty nice. You’re running the brute force setup though, right?

They’ve actually got different floor plans. The hawk is about 5” wider and taller. That is why I am curious to see if anyone has put a hawk on a first gen tundra, because the camper website recommends both for 1st gen tundras. I’m leaning towards a fleet because it’s a little smaller and lighter, and if I ever change trucks (probably won’t happen) I don’t see myself getting anything larger. The fleets seem to be about as large as the mid size trucks go.

I like this setup too but it would be giving up about half the space we currently have with our food over rtt. Definitely going to check out basil Lynch’s thread. Last a saw of his posts he was running a powerstroke and looked like he was building a hilux. Sounds like he has been changing his mind a lot so I’d like to find out his thoughts on that epic looking tundra setup

I went to check out their website but looks like they haven’t gotten to production yet. No pictures of anything but t shirts. Maybe I’ll check them out again before I pull the trigger on something
