    Searched hard and even called Toyota 800# but the rep had no clue. My particular Tundra was “assembled” in O’ Canada. The badge on my tranny says it was manufactured in Japan. Wondering if engine is manufactured in Japan as well? 2002 V8 4wd Tundra SR5 AC 4.7L

    My understanding is that the earlier engines were built in Japan and then at the Alabama plant after it was completed in 2003. So your 2uz-fe was manufactured in Japan.
