1st Gen Tundra - Rear Window Off Slider

    So I broke the glass on my rear window that rows down (like the Sequoia). I got the replacement glass took the panel apart and the slider was jammed at the top. I took more apart and now I can't get the cable hooked back on.

    Is there a trick to releasing tension on the cables so I can slip the slider back on?

    Looks like the FSM suggests installing the mechanism as an assembly, then installing the glass:
