I have access to a parts Sequoia but for the life of me have not been able to see if their cruise control would work with my Tundra. Im considering using the cruise control thread to try and install it, but was looking to see if anyone else has tried this first.

Dont the v6’s use a cable actuated cruise control?

That I am aware of, yes. I was assuming the v8s of that era did too. It is a 2001 Sequoia we are using as a parts car.

No, the v8’s have a motor built into the throttle body that actuates the cruise control. It might be able to be wired up the same, i dont know.

Yeah, that likely won't work then. I will pull it this weekend and see if they can fit up, if not I'll post it here.
