I had been considering swapping out my wheels, but the OEM set that I have now has grown on me more and more. I may end up having a company powder coat them to be a bronze or dark gold color, not sure yet. This would be a way down the line project, though.

This is super interesting. Maybe it's not news to everyone- but I had no idea that the jacks in our trucks were actually good. I always assumed it was cheap stamped steel shit. Really good to know that it's actually usable.

Ordered these up, cheaper than driving into town to go to the dealership. Hopefully they'll help with my door rattle, if not I'll start trying the other fixes that have been listed here. But all 4 of the rubber stops on the drivers side were pretty loose and worn out when I checked them last night.

Nope, they're great. I've mentioned in the past, I've used mine on every suspension upgrade I've done.

I bit the bullet and ordered some of these stupid billet climate control knobs to come with new 35lb Suspa struts for my shell. Hoping the latter will actually be authentic, $20 shipped seems like a too-good-to-be-true deal.

We just realized that we put straight antifreeze into it- not the stuff that comes diluted. I didn't buy it and I didn't think to check. What the hell.

What do yall think? Is it fine? We really oughta drain it all out and dilute it, right? Lot of coolant talk recently.

Why not just drain a bit and add distilled water and test it with one of these https://www.amazon.com/Prestone-AF-1420-Antifreeze-Coolant-Tester/dp/B000BOA9RY until you get it to where you want it? Don't really see any reason to drain all of it when it only needs to be diluted.

I don’t have the patience to turn the knob screw to jack it up. I only use it for roadside emergencies.

Dilute antifreeze is better (in hot climates). Change my mind.

Any space nerds? Today I went to the mount graham international observatory to work on some furnaces. One of the radio scopes took “pictures” and recorded data of the black hole they used in event horizon. Pretty cool stuff!

Water transmits heat and cold much better than straight antifreeze. Use the recommended mix. If you have reverse osmosis water under the kitchen sink, it's much better than store bought distilled water.

RO is better? I still have to replace my coffee maker every 3-4 years. Grandma's pasadena,tx city water coffee maker is 30 years old. And was last cleaned during lock downs.
