I really appreciate it, but I'd never ask that of you. If it was an hour, I'd holler. Thanks man!

Anybody have experience with CruisingForRemotes.com ? They have some amazing prices on keyless entry remotes for my Tundra, but thought I'd ask around first. TIA!

Never heard of them, but people on here have posted a number of companies selling inexpensive replacement remotes. Big thing is, I see you have an 02 and 03, and you'll want to confirm both are RS3200, or if one is RS3200 and the other is RS3000. It's way easier if you already have a working remote for both trucks, and look at the FCC ID in back.

Not sure if it's interesting to anyone but saw this thru one of the FB groups today, Cutless designs.

This platform has been lacking a quality 3rd brake light housing for brake/chase/work functions for the desert rigs. Well, ive got you covered.

My BILLET 6061 aluminum 3rd brake light housing is CAD designed off a cab scan file for an absolutely perfect oem like fit. Unlike the other on the market this housing does not require any drilling or cutting. It mounts using the factory mounting holes and includes an adhesive seal and mounting hardware.

Allows you to mount 3 Baja designs S2 lights. If a red S2 is too bright for you to use on the street as a brake light I’ve also developed a housing that will bolt in place of the center light and allow you to run a stock brake bulb and 1/4 socket that’s already in your truck!! That will be hidden behind an included red lense to keep everything looking uniform.

There is a hidden drill point on top of the light for perfect nmo antenna mount placement as well.

This is sorta/kinda what I was going for with my cargo lamp mod. Just with 1/10th of the time and budget. Hoping to someday upgrade it to use BD's rock lights.

That housing is super cool but the $520 price is not.

Edit: BD S2's are like 2400 lumens or something like that. I feel like that would be way too bright. My harbor freight rock lights are 350 each and those are a lot sometimes.

On the topic of lighting- I know there is a kit to put LED lights in the 03-06 fog light holes, but has anyone made something for 00-02s?

Here's a cheaper option that's been around for a bit. Also has an NMO mount for ham/ GMRS. Seen a few 07+ with this brand. https://www.eviloffroad.com/lights/...il-offroad-2000-2001-2002-2003-2004-2005-2006

The evil MFG is the OG one. I’ll say rock lights aren’t nearly bright enough in the dust. I wouldn’t want any less than 2 of these s2’s if you’re kicking up any serious dust.

Just noticed something, I passed the 1 year mark on this forum.
3 years ownership, bought the truck on 9-20-21 for $2400. For 8mo it sat in my driveway while it took me to school.
I've put about $1500ish into it, and only about 8000 miles on it. (when I retire I NEED to get out more )
Good stuff... Thank you all for the help. :fistbump:

@FrenchToasty After reading into it, they’re just focused LED beams of high intensity (10 watts); no lasers which might require a permit.

    False advertising IMO.

I'm telling y'all, it's not fast. 400hp, but 4000lbs. It's very fun to drive though, and will do instant donuts.

No doubt. After driving just the tundra for a few months grandpas 3rd gen taco feels fast.

I had to borrow a 3G taco for a day. That thing felt way faster, but its my heavy ass wheels and tires and stock gears out to get me. lol

I'm telling y'all, after seeing a Haltech make an automatic only car work fine with a manual, there's a small ember burning in the back of mind of a 4wd, manual, v8, manual transfer case tundra, with all the gauges and 4wd working. And a procharger.

It felt faster, but it made this really annoying noise the whole time. Not someone telling me to slow down, just sounded like a minivan trying its damndest to pass me.
