Imagine that with an 8ft bed. You would probably would have to get a CDL just to back it up.

There are about 8 billion people on the planet. About 3 billion of those just happen to be registered American voters every fourth year in November...then our population takes a sharp dive right afterwards.

My "Top Secret" security file was hacked from OPM years ago (along with ~22 million others) so I've been subscribed to several credit/security monitoring services ever since. At first I started getting regular "security" notifications, although mostly when a registered sex offender moved nearby. Lately though I've been getting more notifications that my data was available on the Dark Web. The information exposed was staggering...more data than I myself knew about! So credit freeze is the first logical step. I'm not sure which (if any) services are effective at scrubbing Dark Web data (it's like a hologram, bits of data are everywhere!). I'll have to check with some people who know about these things and report back if I learn anything useful.

Credit freeze is the way to go. It's a bit of a hassle to unfreeze but gets easier after you learn how to do it a few times. I had a coworker who had his identity stolen and it was a nightmare. It took years to sort out.

Probably because so few people are buying new. Just took a look at a new TRD-off road Taco that went for $57k the other day. I’m like WTF?!?

you don’t even want to know what first gen tacomas are going for. Mismatched wheels and panels, 200k miles and they want $8-$10k

Some used toys have really come down in price this year though. I'm looking at dirt bikes and there are deals out there.

That's been pretty normal pricing for a while though. I got $9800 from insurance for my 99 taco with 200k when it was totalled, back in 2013.

3M eraser wheel. Legit, not bought off scAmazon. Will make easy work of it.

Yeah, it’s a tough market. I was hunting same recently and was really having a hard time.

I noticed that when I was selling my 98. TRD, 4x4, SR5. Good frame, body and interior. But engine, transmission and clutch had 330,000 miles on them. Clutch was still good, but noticeably tired. Timing belt/water pump job was due in ~10-20,000 miles. Leaking rear axle seal. With all that, I asked $5,800, hoping to get $5,000. Got $4,800. When I told my mechanic he smiled and said "you gave it away!"

I disclosed all the problems in my ad. Definitely limited the people interested, but that was the point. Probably talked to 3 people over the three weeks it was for sale.

But I saw a lot of very hopeful people out there selling similar trucks. Like you said, $8-10,000 and up. But if they had tired clutches and TB/WP jobs coming due, they weren't disclosing...

Yeah I should disclose mine (despite being totalled) had new TB/WP and paint job done a year prior, and brand new wheels and tires. Still yet, it was a TRD prerunner V6 (auto trans, rear e-locker). Which are quite popular in TX. 4wd would've probably gotten me another $700 or something though.
