She never once got into the trash or showed any regard the for mailman. But our mailbox was at the curb. I guarantee if he had to come up to the porch, she'd have gone "Cujo".

Heh, Ive been to Wallops flight facility.
Stayed on Chincoteague island for a few days.
Went on the "see the dolphins" pontoon ride.
The tour guide (Driver) was an engineer at that facility.
He was filling in for his son and doing our tour.
Pretty cool dude, and we got a lot more info and a better tour.

I've been on and off again thinking about further chopping up my TRD dual catback. I've already relocated the tips out of necessity and deleted the resonator.
Part of me wants to start over and just keep the long tubes, cats, and TRD tips. I know I'd want an x-pipe, probably a dual in/out muffler, but I don't know what diameter pipes are optimal for a dual exhaust on the 2uz. Seems it's either 2.5" or 2.75", but I haven't found a straight answer yet. I'm thinking the shop that installed my headers, cats and y-pipe ran 3" pipes from the cats the the single in/dual out muffler. So I'm concerned I'm leaving some performance on the table as is, from both not being true duals and the intermediate pipe diameters. At certain constant RPMS, it feels like the exhaust isn't scavenging, as I can feel a vibration in my feet. Typically I notice it around 40-50mph, until the truck shifts into OD.

It was South Carolina. He always joked he was from Greenbow Alabama, which Forest Gump lived in. A lot of the movie was filmed in South Carolina. I'm betting he lived in a town they filmed in, maybe even did some hand modeling for the movie.

I heard he was a naked maid, best known for using feather dusters while tucked in a place others of us may find uncomfortable. This was more of a hand preservation technique than it was for shock factor.

It's a one-way valve. Allows blow-out, but not suck-in. This allows hot gasses to escape, but nothing external to suck in. If you were to suck in water when you dunk your axle, for example, that'd be bad.

So I travel 50 miles to my favorite lake towing my boat (rear diff hot) and dunk my rear end in the water while launching the boat (creating a vacuum) and it can't equalize through the breather so it could draw water in through the axle seals if they are weak or compromised in any way?

Hmmm. Aint there a ball in the oem vent? Let pressure out, but not let anything in? Pretty sure the aftermarket extended front diff & t case vents rattle after you clean em. Figure a bit of vacuum in the case might keep the seals tight? With a 1-way in the opposite direction wouldnt the heat force fluid out?

Yeah you are right. I think the flaw in my thinking is the actual vacuum created is so low it won't defeat the axle seals.

Dipping a red hot diff into yankee water might not be the best plan. But better than salt water. Or a saltwater beach.

maybe take 10-20 mins to do a thorough walk around & give the captain speech. Then dunk it once its had some time to cool.

We're in Ohio visiting family and spotted this poor Tundra. I can tell it hasn't moved in a while. Wonder how much they would let it go for. Frame was Ohio crusty.

My grandmother used to live just north of Dayton, I've never had a more boring drive than there to Erie. Nothing but corn fields and despair.

A friend's wife wanted one of the high end Samsung washer and dryer sets. He said it turned a three hour job into a 10 hour job. They fought it for a year (all of the electronics were replaced under warranty, but it still wouldn't complete a load without intervention), and spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the service tech troubleshooting it over bluetooth. They finally bought a low end Amana washer and have had no problems since. As Scotty said, "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop it up."

I figure he watched his production slow down and realized that he shot himself in the foot. If he gets someone to work for the lower pay, they won't work fast.

Seems the majority consensus I've gathered today is 2.25"-2.5".
So if I do decide to redo my exhaust, I'll do 2.5".
I just need to decide on what muffler(s), resonators (or none), and whether to go with an X-pipe, H-pipe, no crossover with one dual in/out muffler, or no crossover with two separate mufflers. Hmmm

I wish I knew the pros and cons of the different ways to achieve true duals.
I don't hate the single in/dual out TRD catback, it sounds nice with the long tubes and the deleted resonator. But I believe there's a little room for improvement in both sound and performance. Is the juice worth the squeeze? Probably not... But who cares, as long as I like it right?

Speaking of TRD exhausts. I’ve had an idea to hack up one from the 5.7 to run a bed exit with TRD tips. Really like the tone on the mufflers of those.
