My go-to for that was always Keystone Ice

That's all my dad drank, the better part of my life as I remember it.

This is a bald-faced lie right there.

Its purpose is for alcoholics to keep a steady oral IV of alcohol in their system w/o getting wasted. The truth of the matter is, you cannot get wasted on Busch Light. Well, maybe you can, but it sure as hell wouldn't be cheap, you'd hafta buy a couple suitcases worth and figure out a way to drink them in under 2 hours.

How exactly do you defined “wasted”? Tripping over yourself and slurring your speech or the need to get your stomach pumped?

    A couple cases, really?

Wasted would be the former, the latter is more like "obliterated". You'll never reach the latter on Busch Light, Natty Lite, Miller Light, etc.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you'd need to drink 1-2 suitcases of Busch Light to get to the point of tripping over yourself and slurring.

Have you ever drank that shit? I drank a 6pk in an hour and barely felt a tingle.

I stay away from Busch and most other piss poor bears. Light beer you typically won’t feel it till you drink 1/2 case and that depends upon how fast you drink it. I don’t know of anyone who can go through two cases of beer in a night and not be drunk when one case should be more than enough.

I used to work with a guy who used to only drink bud light. Raging alcoholic with some wild bi polar issues. Damn near schizophrenic when he got drunk it was so bad. What amazed me was he would slur his way through the back half of the case and would never black out.

I also don't black out. I'll eventually pass out, but I start barfing before that happens, and usually after barfing, I feel well enough to drink some more.

I'm grateful that's only happened a handful of times in my life, and when I was much younger and stupider. I think for most people, once you get past, like, 35-45ish years old, the repercussions of going off the rails outweigh the fun when you're in the midst of it.

I had two beers last night for the first time in quite a while. Gotta say, don't miss it a ton. Loved the flavor, didn't love how it feels. Total opposite of quitting smoking, when I dabbled after quitting, hates the way it tasted, liked the way it felt.

I can't even imagine drinking two cases, you'd be pissing every 10 minutes for hours.

What is ugly design language (trucks and CUV's), bland paint colors, (mostly variations of white, silver, grey, black, & tan), gimmicky tech, and small displacement engines, EPA BS.

The downfall of the automobile began with the electric starter, and was completed with plastic headlights.

I never cared for the way alcohol makes me feel.
I either consume a ton of empty calories to feel sick and puke, or I just get drunk and bitter.
I much prefer tokage. But when I do decide to actually drink, maybe once a month, it's either a few drinks or a full throw down.
Now I quit cigs 1.5 year ago and when I had one drag on NYE, while wasted, I didn't like it. It had been a year at that point.

Same experience with cigs here. The biggest shock is when you pull an old jacket or t-shirt or something out and realize what an ashtray you'd smelled like to everyone else all those years. Cigarettes were vile, and I was so oblivious when I was a pack-a-day guy.

I can't smoke flower, one-hit wonder here. Doesn't matter whether indi/sati, all the same for me. One swat, and I'm sleeping 20-30min later. I dunno how regular smokers do it. Maybe it's just a frequency thing, but I don't love how it makes me feel, so I would never frequentlly subject myself to it. I do fully support your right to legally consume, though.

As an ex-Miata owner, I've had my fair share of run ins w/ mini's. They're dope little cars if you enjoy driving something "underpowered" really hard and it capable of handling corners pretty well for its goofy shape lol

had a buddy with a JCW for a bit. I liked the snug seats, and how it felt faster than it was.

Long story short my wife wants something "fun" to drive which in her mind means a coupe/convertible in a flashy color.

I would say Miata or cooper fits the bill pretty well. It would just come down to 2 seats or 4 really....
