Hahahahahaha his mom's having a shit fit about him buying a truck, not even a death trap car. You think she's gonna go in on a bike as a first mode of transport...... You're on drugs if you think that's a yes.

He needs to just got his money and buy that jeep you have and be done with it. It's not like I can't or won't help him fix it.

The jeep uses twice the fuel a motorcycle does, and liability insurance is cheaper than for a s10 blazer, xj cherokee, or '02 tundra. My price didnt go up like voss was talking, bit i'm probably on some sort of list because i insure 1 of 3 vehicles at a time. Might swap to the titan for a month or 2.

Left home to go camping in NC yesterday at 1700. Got stuck in terrible traffic so we didn't make it to Old NC 105 until almost 2200. Got one of the last camping spots with no views. There is used TP everywhere. People suck.

There are spots on this road that overlook Linville Gorge. I've been wanting to camp here for a few years.

I think we'll attempt to relocate after coffee.

Yeah those are what I been preaching but no one listens haha.
    Casey has my old set.
Only reason I ditched em was because the Alcan leaf packs came with their own bumpstops on their ubolt flip kit. You may have to do a little fabing to make em work with your ubolt flip.

unless shifty says it, nobody really pays attention. I've seen multiple posts of

    -person asks question
-somebody other than shifty gives answer
-shifty chimes in, usually correlating with previous post
-OP quotes and thanks shifty and promptly is never seen again

    it's just something I've noticed.....

I value opinions I do, but I value first hand experience more. I figure some folks on here have used them pretty sure Assdog was one of them but I couldn't remember. So best ask than to not and be sorry.

For most vehicles there is a plug that's in the lock assembly which is the sensor. I've had to unplug a few lift gate door sensors when people are rear ended and the back gate won't close so that the battery doesn't die. I am not sure if this is the same for the older vehicle's.

Believe me, I've noticed also. To the point I've been trying to delay answering some threads, skip answering on threads other people hop on, unless I think there's some added info that would help, or there's an opportunity to reply with something substantial that would help with the Megathread.

I actually went through the Megathread this AM and link-shortened everything where I could in the 1st reply, while updating the tire/wheel section. I hit the character limit on replies, and couldn't add anything else in.

For the dog? No. We run a fan for her when it gets hot but having the front slider window open also creates a surprising amount of air flow when we're driving.

It was only 65 last night so she slept fine in the bed.

Instead of building a junkyard cart from scratch I decided to start with this garden cart from Hazard Fraught and modify things as needed.

    In the packout-
    Sawzall+blades
    Anglegrinder+wheels
    1/2 Impact
    4 Batteries

Black bag-My standard mobile mechanics kit
    Red case- impact socket set
    2X 20 ton Jackstand
    1.5 ton Aluminum floor jack
    1/2 breaker bar

Hopefully I can snag a pair of leafs tomorrow morning and dive into my suspension fuckery tomorrow afternoon.
