Need or have? Don’t have one. We’ve been inundated with rain, not as bad as the Houston folks though. Today the toilet burped once when I was in the shower. I’m assuming that means the septic is full and it’s forcing air in the drain lines back into the plumbing. So we’ve been on camper water rules today until things dry out.

I maybe a bit stoned but it don't change this shit. Peanut butter Cream Cheese frosted Fudge Brownies with milk and dark chocolate chips baked in.... Baaaaked in
    IMG20240506220137.jpg Screenshot_2024-05-06-20-58-18-60_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.jpg

And for the frosting it's easy peasy
    8 Tbsp room temp butter
4oz cream cheese, the block not the spreadable crap
    1 cup baking/ confectioners sugar
    1/8 tspn vanilla extract, optional
    1 heaping Tbsp peanut butter

In sauce pan melt butter and cream cheese together stir/ whisk till completely blended. Add in 1/2 cup baking sugar stir till completely dissolved in, repeat. Add peanut butter and the whisk vigorously untill every is combined and blended smooth.

Forgot to mention this on the MPG topic. I've been commuting Ody off, and have driven a little more agressive and horsing around. And after filling up calculated 10.9 mpg.:eek2:
A bit better than driving "normal"

Small update here: I had a former coworker who's a Jeephead and lifetime wrench turner. Told me he got rid of his pre-teens grand Cherokee b/c he was non his 3rd driveshaft assembly, and I should check his carrier bearing, because apparently these early WK2 Jeeps have an issue with the carrier bearing rubber tearing, and the rubber isolator pucks cracking up.

Well, I went out to his vehicle, grabbed the driveshaft and spun it, and sure enough, I get the goddamn rubber squeaking sound we're hearing, and the carrier is so loose, the driveshaft is basically slapping into the heat shield they put over it. Stupid part is, you can't just replace the carrier on these f'n things, you gotta replace the whole driveshaft assembly. What a bunch of BS!

Anyway, I'm like 80% sure this is the issue. Carrier has easily 1" of play, is sitting on the heat shield, squeaks to high hell when rotated by hand, and seems to be resting on the heat shield. Meh.

As much as I want to help him with the work, I think I'm going to help him find a driveshaft shop to do the work. Parts aren't horrible, looks like around $350 for the driveshaft assembly, I'm guessing maybe an hour of work, two tops.

EDIT: This actually lines up nicely. He said it wasn't happening when they picked it up, didn't start until they made a 7hr mostly-Interstate trip back from Greenville NC, so I'm kinda thinking the rubber shredded from extended highway RPMs, and now here they are.

3 hour window on this Lightning Deal ....

FYI: If anyone is looking, there's a deal on the Akaso Brave 7 with a Micro SD card and a bunch of accessories (xtra batt etc.) for $139 at scAmazon, these are supposed to be damn near identical to GoPro in qualities and features:

I saw this on our garage floor today. My 2002 doesn't leak but our 2012 does. Even Toyota has seen quality dip over the years.

I've noticed it does not leak when I use Mobile 1 high mileage. Supposedly there is an additive to help the gaskets. I'll have to switch back next oil change.

Why not epoxy coat your garage floor so you can easily clean up the spills without worrying about staining?

It's on my list but I'm not going epoxy. I don't care what people say, if doesn't last forever.

Some people swear by it, but it didn't stop the leak on my 03. Might've stopped the leak on my 06, but then it started leaking diff juice and coolant. So it's hard to say for sure if it even stopped the oil leak.

It shored up my cam seal leaks. It's not a gimmick, but won't work in situations where a seal is heavily cracked or breached in some way. They claim (maybe guarantee) not to overswell like other stop-leak-magic-in-a-bottle products. It essentially contains a similar additive package to what the 'high mile' oils use to refresh/rejuvenate seals that have shrunk or receded with age.

Well I said I would report back in 2 weeks fail or success. Didn't even take 2 weeks. So I laid down another bed of seed, heavy again and mixed it in with some starter fertilizer

It'll get a 45 minute watering before work.

I don't use the high mileage but I use additive seperatly BG MOA. It can be purchased online and even on scAmazon from somewhat reputable sellers.

Didn't do a damn thing for my leaks. Could have been that they wre too far gone. No problems with that now :D

    It's worth a try. I think it's like $10

    Yup

I know I talk about Ethanol Free gas a lot. But here my numbers. 00 AC 2wd 218017 miles

    90 E Free 271 mi., 15.148 gal, 17.89 mpg

    89 "10%" BS 264mi., 16.242 gal, 16.25 mpg

    50/ 50 mix 93/ 90 EF 284 mi., 16.972gal, 16.73 mpg

Is it a huge difference no, but there is an audible difference under load in my exhaust note on the E Free, more throaty. Vice running blended or the 50/50, it's much more flat sounding.

All driving is a combo of about 25 miles a day, half highway with construction and half stop and go road ways. But it's a huge gain over the barely 13 mps the truck was getting when I first got it.

You gotta know which days a certain station might be trying to move some high test for a fresh shipment. Or e-free, cause i aint got boost.

you can also wash the ethanol out of high test. Just need a couple drums. And a drying agent.

That is not necessarily true. Many stations have separate tanks for mid-grade gasoline.
