    056 Natural White here.

I had the same outcome when I bought touch-up paint from AutomotiveTouchUp website. It was slightly off, slightly off-white compared to OEM.

I dunno, I'm totally good with it, I like it more than, like, any of the greens, and all of the blues (except one), and all the reds (except one).

My favorite 1GT color I think is what @NickB_01TRD and @KNABORES are rocking on their trucks. I think the best colors are white or black, but I'd rather have white b/c it hides imperfections and dirt waaaay better. And I wouldn't want anything with clearcoat because it seems to have such a high failure rate.

That's the big question, aint it?! HAHAHAHAHA

Amp wiring. I typically fab up a OEM+ looking bracket for my fuseblock on my amp wiring so I'm not drilling into sheet metal. I thought, "what the hell, white truck, maybe I'll fab up a white bracket so it all blends in". I think this white sheet could still work but I'll probably go with the black ABS I've already got on-hand from other projects.

    My thought process was this...

If I can avoid it, I never hang fuse blocks in position (C). Best to avoid power wires sloping down toward your firewall grommet unless you negative-slope before the grommet it to provide a means for water to collect/drip . Sloping direct to the grommet is how you get water into the cab, no matter how well you seal it. Classic mistake.

I see some trucks have a piggy-backed block in position (A). I was initially thinking, "ah what the hell, maybe those slots are there and I can get that add-on piece and mount the fuse block on it?". I'm going to spend a few minutes looking at videos of people working on the fuse/relay box to see if that's a possibility, maybe I can hit a JY and find that little bit.

If nothing else, I'm going to cut out some 1/8" ABS for position (B), using that mount to hold it in place. It'd let me cleanly route around the fuse/relay box, under that red shop towel, basically mounting the fuse block on the rectangular parallel to OEM wiring. With how I typically wrap my wires, it won't be obvious anything isn't OEM on the truck, it'll also be nicely shielded from the elements, damage, oxygen, etc.

ABS at that thickness is pretty easy to bend with heat, so bending it to fit cleanly under the lip of the fuse/relay box mount shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

So I just found out my niece in HS is interested in fixing cars and I’m like “O really?” o_O

My brother (her father) and SIL aren’t too thrilled about it and don’t want me involved ever since I bought her that used pink strat and 10w starter amp. Go figure. :notsure:

Man, it's too bad that 253pc Jobsmart tool set from Tractor Supply isn't still $49. That was one hell of a deal. No box/open combo wrenches, but literally every other tool a budding wrencher would need. I bought a kit for myself. It's not as polished as the 30yo Crescent someone stole when they broke into my truck and back in '03, nor the ChannelLock kit I bought to replace it, but ...

To that point, Costco has some really, quite nice ChannelLock kits in the $79-129 range if you want to go that route. This is very similar to the one I've kept as a kick-around box in the garage when I'm too lazy to walk to my main box, and the same box I toss in the truck for road trips. https://www.samsclub.com/p/channellock-mechanics-set-200pc/prod23222413

Hey all, @Arcadia666 has a brakes question

"could anyone help me find out what is wrong in this scenario I got going on... Truck won't brake at all. Brake fluid won't leave the reservoir.. no point in bleeding it because nothing makes it to the caliper."

Poster says no point in bleeding. How does he/she know? Has this even been attempted to rule it out?

I feel somewhat confident that Toyota will offer a sale every Black Friday so that's probably when I'll try to stock up. Both the RAV4 and my truck keep making front end noises I can't figure out. I know my inner tie rods have play, but I doubt they are making noise. I should probably order new ones.

Did anyone go aftermarket on inner tie rods?

I did. Used Moog I think from Rockauto. No apparent issues to date.
