So if someone shows up to your house to watch TV they have to pedal the bike?

one thing about the Ridgeline - the cap has two sides & the rear tailgate glass, but no front wall/window. The cap is 3 sided & can caulk to the cab roof to keep the bed full dry. In this case unibody is a good thing.

Unless that rolled over on its roof while going down a hill you won’t get enough time to react for a collision like that. I’m talking lower speed collisions which are more common.

I'm going to take a wild stab and say "visibility".

As someone with a softopper, I know it fucks my visibility, with no side windows and yellowing, dirty jeep windows. How about your new shell?

Not even remotely phased. And I was super worried about that point. I find I just use my mirrors more, the only visiblity issues come with rain, the back shell window becomes difficult to see out of.

That 18 month stint I worked on a commercial lighting crew relamping grocery stores had a pretty profound effect on me though. Driving around a crew of dudes in an old G30 sportvan and a box trailer full of fluoro bulbs and fixtures changed the way I look at visibility. Generally speaking though, I don't feel like I have any less visibility than our current-gen Highlander has. The Highlander has a rear window wiper tho :(

I've definitely gotten used to using the side mirrors because I can't see out the back at all. The inside window closest to the cab is clean and clear, buit the rearmost window it sunburned yellow and dirty and covered in stickers

I’m stoked to take the Tundra shell off for loading green. Even with windoors it’s annoying. Should have space to store it in another month.

visibility is nice without the shell. Backup cam helps a ton though.

I have good visibility out the side windows. That's been the dilemma on the windoors: Do I actually do the windoor sliders which heavily reduce visibility, or just do plain windoors, which should improve it? I like to let things breathe, so I typically keep my current sliders cracked unless it's raining. I actually need to re-screen those bastards pretty soon, they're caked (even after scrubbing) and it's visibility-limiting.

I rain-x'd my cap windows, after hidden falls the dust was thick enough that it was tricky backing up. When i get a new mirror mount for that tv mirror i'm gonna run my back cam from the top of the cap.

I feel like I need to find a good scratch-safe window squeegee for the cap.

Sometimes I bid lowball prices on really stupid shit for the hell of it, not expecting to win. I bid $36.99 on on this and have nfc what I'll do with it now that actually won. I'm assuming the Kicker Comp-C 12s aren't blown, and I'm oh-so-sure the Boss AR1500 monoblock amp is top-quality ( ). I guess if nothing else, the box will decently tuned/constructed and may serve as a home for some other 12s. Or I just re-sell for $150 if it everything ohms out fine, there's no garbage in the sub VCs, and the amp turns on/outputs off the RCA signal. Looks like the loaded enclosure was running $379 MSRP on scAmazon and is still in the upper $200s shipped. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MY6O4Z6

didn't, random photo to illistrate the point. but i may, can't see a damn thing with the cap on.

cap windows are short & dark tinted. Truck windows are dark tinted. I'm double limo tinted beyond the back seat. Sucks. But truck looks more SUV & less Ridgeline with the cap on it.
