Why is it whenever you’re looking for a Christmas deal on a tool it doesn’t exist?

Trying to see if I can get a good deal on a 11-13 amp variable speed die grinder. Preference is the corded unit from Dewalt but Milwaukee also came out with an M18 unit as well.

M12 units need not apply. Too weak.

On a different note, anyone have a suggestion for a website to find a Black Friday deal on restaurant gift certificates?

I’m thinking Groupon is my best bet but I’m sort of new to it since I’m buying it for the folks as their Christmas gift.

I'm having enough trouble trying to figure out what to tell my kids to get me. My son is hounding me especially. I'm, like, "I don't really want for anything, son". I legit can't think of anything in the $10-20 price range. Maybe I'll ask him to get me some socket organizer bars or something but I've already got some coming in next week and they're a little over $20 so not ideal.

If you've got a Costco membership or know someone that does, Costco is running a few deals on top of what they usually do.

If you don't have a Costco membership or a buddy near you willing to buy for you, but a Costco gift card at any grocery store (if you have Costco near you), and showing that gets you in the door. But you'd have to pay with Costco gift cards.

Get me in the door? Haha, I pick up a script from there so that’s my way in and around that.

However, yes I haven’t had a Costco card in a few years and know of nobody with one. Didn’t reallly see a restaurant they’d like to visit that’s in my area. My membership currently is with BJs Warehouse instead.

I always do, but then comes the barrage of questions: "Make what? Whaddya like? Tell me your favorite video games. Tell me your favorite things to do. Tell me your favorite things to look at. Tell me your favorite food...."

I've tried telling them, they're my favorite, hanging out with them is what I love to do, and that's coming from me, I'm not one to pick favorites.

So the owners don’t even do it themselves, they subcontract it out? Huh…I need a better line of work to afford that. First I need to upgrade to an actual house over my townhome though.

If you have your card out and hold it up when you walk in, you won't get stopped. But they scan your membership card when you checkout. Think you can buy alcohol and use the Pharmacy without a membership though.

Wasn't there a movie where a guy was siphoning his electricity for his Christmas lights off his neighbor?

Ah. I'm familiar with IASIP but I've never really watched it.

Hopefully that doesn't shave off too many cred points.
