I always have an image in my head of what people on here look like and am always wrong about it. Not in any negative way. Just always different.

You bring that price down about 10k and it seems reasonableish. (I see this is an old listing and not one you are trying to buy) The C4 market has not gone up like a lot of other vehicles have. If you pay more than 15k it better have 6000 miles on it or be a ZR1. Not sure about your budget but there is a C4 out there that will fit anyone's budget. 96 6 speed cars are the ones to have. They got the LT4 with some more power. Unless you are making the big leap to ZR1 but then prices go up a decent bit.

Considering how Greasy, and nasty I was at bilstein, I'm surprised I didn't die with how often I was in those panels.

That specific model is rebranded Elka and I've dropped it in a cart a number of times already. Solid, enexpensive to rebuild, apparently, and I see very few complaints. That could just be because not a ton of people are running them. Elka has a good rep though. I'd buy it. Just haven't yet :D

I don't remember what just the coilovers went for alone, as of a few weeks ago. I'd only been looking at the kit. I can't say if $999 is a good deal or not for just the front coilovers.

What I can tell you is just front 5100s, pre-assembled at most places with Veterans Day/Black Friday deals right now are running in the $650-750 range depending who you buy from. If we average that at $700, you're looking around $25-30% more to get a fully adjustable Aluma Boss (Elka) front suspension. Pair with rear 5100s for another $200, some SuspensionMAXX SMX-122260T extended sway links at $120 and some Eibach (aka SPC) 5.25485K upper control arms at $600 and you've got a better setup than 4 out of 5 people on here

I need to stop, I'm really tempted to blow $2k right now :D

Just did some newskin liquid bandage on my R ring finger. Gloves have holes in half the fingers so that guy is taking a beating. I do have some new gloves on order. Shoulder is fine. Back is sore. I probably used too little leg the first day. Rookie blunder.

I think most of the remaining logs need one cut, a few maybe 2-3 cuts, then one final split. Someone told me to leave a few full rounds for overnight? But I’m not sure I want that. Seems like small stuff half round is good.

we are having trouble lighting our wood after the 2 weeks of rain. Everything outside seems to have absorbed the moisture. Once it’s going, though, anything burns.

Yeah, I remembered last night that you have a c4. Green iirc. I went down the rabbit hole and did some research. I was initially thinking 95 to keep it obd-I, but didn't realize the LT4 was only 96. Then I found this:

    Screenshot_20221112_045743_Adblock Browser.jpg

    https://m.usedcorvettesforsale.com/1996-Corvette-Coupe-88506.html

I found a lender Doug Demuro uses that will give good APR loans on older vehicles. As soon as the SHOs are gone I might have to act on this.

More than likely it was a twist lock receptacle and someone modified it to fit. That let the ground go into a hot and energized the shell of the machine. When that metal touched the machine it became energized, then when it hit the properly grounded machine, boom!

One of my worst was being in an attic in a church sweating my ass off and kneeling down on some conduits. I got bit hard. Did not like.

Another spot that sucks is right in the tender on the under arm. Shoving pipe across a ceiling grid and the wire nut fell off on the hots in a j-box I was next too. Got me right in the tender.

Harbor Freight is rolling out their deals. This seems like a good price for their Daytona Jack. These scored well in Project Farm's test.

That's cool. Those are way too expensive. I still don't want to lug around an 80lb jack. Happy with my little bottle jack but I admit I've never had to use it, so maybe it would suck on the trail.

We changed 2 flats on the trail in big bear, it was super nice knowing the full size(2 ton aluminum) was stable and not going anywhere in the sand.
I might start looking at designing a mount for mine in the truck bed.
