Hi all. So I decided to upgrade my stock struts with some Bilstein 5100's on stock coils. Needless to say, Bilstein is notoriously bad with their directions. They send one bushing per shock and indicate that bushing goes above the mounting plate. Ok I get that. They then say their should be the OEM bushing glued to the bottom of the plate. Ok I get that as well.

So there are three bushings involved. The one that sits glued within the plate, the bilstein provided one above the plate, and the OEM rod bushing that's below the plate.

My question lies with the bushing that sits below the one that is glued to the bottom of the mounting plate. Is it still used? They don't reference it at all.

It's Toyota part number 90080-94105. They reference it as a "shock cushion"

    Thank you!

Base on what I can see. The bushing that comes from Bilstein goes above the upper mount, while the OEM bushing goes under that same upper mount("glued in"). I do not think there should be 3 bushings.
