    Truck is a RA60 manual.

I recently installed a new Aisin clutch and Luk flywheel. The new flywheel was on sale and only $20 more than re-surfacing my old one... save me a round trip... so why not? HA.

Everything torqued per spec, 14ft-lb on pressure plate, 61ft-lb flywheel torque. Had a vibration at idle and a few spots in RPM range during test drive. I have a work truck so I deadlined the Tundra until I had time to pull it apart again.

    Long story short yesterday:
    - Removed trans, verified alignment tool still slipped in without issue. Ran engine with only Luk flywheel and clutch assembly installed. Vibration still there.
    - Removed clutch assembly, ran engine with flywheel only, vibration still there.
    - Installed old flywheel and NO vibration

The FSM has no info on flywheel/clutch indexing beyond marking a used assembly. Am I missing something?

I'm guessing the new Luk flywheel is not balanced or not balanced for the engine. Part no is LFW260; it appears to have been drilled for balance. I'm tempted to send it out for balance just for kicks.

In future clutch installs... I'll definitely run the engine with each component installed... and maybe send the whole assembly off for balancing as one unit.
