Hi guys, new too the site, great info here, first issue for me though. My passenger side mirror got knocked off by someone going down my street. I put back on, reconnected it. Week later I was told that same side passenger rear side DRL is out. I do have LED lights, not the stock halogen ones. The brake light works though, so does reverse, but DRL is not on, the license plate light came unplugged so scratch that I plugged in and it works so it’s just the DRL out now. The 10amp under the kickplate is fine I checked that and engine bay fuses also are ok checked those ….any idea what it can be aside from the led light going bad somehow? Don’t see an LED strip going out as they were expesive back in 2019 but I guess possible. I pulled it off connections look fine , any help would be great , thank you

    Welcome to the forum..

    Your front DRL;
You say you have the LED headlights.
Is it the DRL white LED strips that are not working?

I really don't understand what's going on with this.

but deal is not on, also that same side license plate light I noticed isn’t lighting up.

Both your plate lights are on the same circuit, try replacing the bad bulb.
It's that same circuit as your parking lights,
    Do they all work?

Actually, I noticed my passenger side license plate was also out, aside from just the rear right DRL, but it was unplugged, I plugged it in and it does work, so now it’s just the rear passenger side DRL that’s out

To answer you question. I didn’t mean Deal, I meant DRL, the fronts everything works, the rear just one rear passenger side DRL isn’t working now, the backup light and the brake light do work on the light though

I’m wondering if anything in the mirror could be causing the delay to not work, I checked the fuses in the engine bay and the foot area in the drivers side seat and they were all fine. I have a buddy as a last resort with a same truck with stock taillights I could see if I can plug in to know if it’s wiring or the light but I haven’t seen a deal led strip go the tail light were expensive and not cheap ones back in 2018

There is no such thing as a rear DRL.
The front headlights have DRLs, Daytime Running Lights, the rears don't.
Do you mean your rear parking/running lights?
The rear lights don't get any power from just the truck running without the lights on.

If it was a fuse, neither side would work.
If it was the fuse, the front and rear parking lights wouldn't work.
They are all on one circuit.

I'd do what you suggested, try another tail light since you have access to one.
Or better yet, pull the tail light again and check the wiring with DMM (digital multi-meter) for current.
Parking light is going to be the green wire pin 1 in your R4 connector.
Test it with white/black stripe wire pin 2 or any good ground.
It if has power with the lights on, your aftermarket tail light is the problem.

You can find wiring diagrams here.
    Good luck..

Yes the running lights, they are on if I turn my lights on in daytime or auto at night, the brake light works, reverse also, but running light on that one side doesn’t turn on. Do you guys know if anything in the passenger side mirror would be connected or cause that side running light on the rear to turn off? I will say one wire in the mirror was broken, I connected it back but unsure how good it was, but also the mirror turn signal works so I’d guess it’s connected

The first thing you need to do is test that wiring and make sure you're getting parking light power to that connector/light.
If you are getting power, the tail light is faulty.
If you are not getting power, you'd need to trace the wiring harness under the truck and make sure no wiring is being crushed or eaten by rodents.

I don't think there is any wiring to the mirror that would affect your parking lights.
Since the mirror turn signal works, everything should be connected.
Even the puddle lights (if you have them) run off the interior light circuit.

As you can see here, the rear wiring goes down the frame of the truck and then to each side.
Even if there was a problem with the mirror (or anything else towards the front) both of your tail lights (R4 and R5) would have an issue instead of the one.

I think it is probably your after-market tail light.
I'd research the manufacturer and see what the warranty is.
Contact their customer service and see if that can help you.
