Howdy! I'm installing my Thule roof rack to carry the kayaks on an upcoming adventure. I used the rack on my 13 DC previously. The feet/rack are supposed to fit the new truck also. I followed the manufacturer's instructions for the 2018 with regard to spacing (11 3/8" to front foot from windshield) and the rack does NOT look like it's in the correct position and looks like it should go back another 6" or so. The bar is angled forward, as well as the kayak carrier on top and it just looks, well... wrong. Do any of you have experience with these systems? I'm guessing the measurement in the installation instructions is incorrect. Of course the manufacturer is closed on the weekends, so thought I'd give it a shot here.
    TIA!

For future reference if this comes up for anyone else: I did speak with a representative from Thule today. They stated the front rack does need to be mounted at 11 3/8" from the windshield, as that is the strongest part of the roof. The rear bar can move up to 36" back on a Crewmax from the listed 27 1/2", or anywhere in between. I'll put up a picture as soon as I remember to take one!
