Currently have 18 cm with 20k miles on it. Added running boards. Liner. Bull bar small simple things. But since day one I had a shudder/vibration issue between 46-51 mph. No steering wheel wobble just whole truck vibrating. Numerous dealer visiting and no help. It’s either normal or can duplicate. I’m on a verge of trading it in for another 19 cm but this one has the trd off road package. What do you think is a good price for the new ‘19 and what should I expect for my 18 cm(4.6l). !!?

You’re gonna pay through the teeth on this. Seems like the dealer should replace the tires under warranty since it sounds like they cannot balance them.

It’s not the tires. Had a different set of wheels and tires on it and made no difference. Has to be something with drive train or differential or something else

check the u joint see if it have any play, if not check all diff fluid level, if not check all wheel bearing up, down & side to side for play, if not check rear rotor for warp.

Everything is tight and no play. My best bet would be. Drive shaft. ? Carrier barring ? Torque converter. But it’s under warranty so I don’t want to take anything apart Myself?!

get a drive cam and record every time you drive, get evidence, and see if toyota could fix it. if they can't use lemon law to get full refund.

I bet the driveshaft threw a weight. The weights are glued on at the factor now, not welded like the old days. Happened to my recently traded in F150 after 60K miles. Had the same vibe in the same speed range. Entire driveshaft was replaced under extended warranty and it fixed it.

So it's a 2018 and they can't/won't fix it? Did you take 'em on a drive so they can feel the vibrations? Seems to me this is something they should address as a defective vehicle (lemon law?)

Yep drove it. And can’t duplicate or say it’s normal.

I have the exact same situation. I'm trading for a 2020 Pro.

I've spent hundreds in alignments and tire balances. Got a new tire since Road Force balance said it had a hard spot (Tire Rack replaced it for free).

Toyota says they can't duplicate it and when the can it's normal. I assure you, it's not. Sometimes it doesn't do it, most of the times it does. Feels like it's coming from the rear.
