    I have a 03 access cab.
    Newbie question.
Will a 17 in tire fit under the bed in the spare slot? Picking up/Swapping out stock wheels for the fj cruiser rims this weekend and trying to figure out what to do with the 5th wheel. Thanks in advance.

I have a 285/70/17 under the bed in the stock location. Fit with no mods.

285/75/r16 under and inside the cavity.

It fits snuggly and needs to be wedged in carefully to fit flush as it should. Mount the tire with the valve stem down so you can air it up just in case.
