Hey guys. New to this forum.

I had something happen with my 16 TSS, 5.7L that I thought I should share with you.

I had several 7.5A fuses blow (truck dead; no key function or even lights), I believe they are the AM2 fuse in the box under the hood. Couldn't figure out why that was happening, until my mobile mechanic came out and tested the load on the battery while the truck was being started. Mine was reading over 320 amps, and normally should be about 200 amps. My starter had also been kind of noisy, so he replaced the starter for me and VOILA! Noise and blowing fuses gone...

So, in case you find yourself replacing 7.5A fuses more than once, it could be your starter.

    Hope this helps someone.
